AceInterview ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered interview preparation platform that helps users practice for job interviews through quizzes, aptitude tests, resume building, and AI mock interviews. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and services.

By creating an account and using AceInterview, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and full name. This information is used to identify you and provide a personalized experience.

2.2 Usage Data

We collect data about your interview preparation progress, including:

• Selected interview field and category
• Quiz scores and level completion status (Levels 1–3)
• Per-topic performance breakdowns
• Badges and achievements earned

2.3 Payment Information

When you purchase Pro access (Level 3 unlock), payment is processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card details, bank account numbers, or UPI IDs. We only retain the Razorpay payment ID and your subscription status to manage your access.

2.4 Interview Chat Data

During AI Mock Interview sessions, the text messages you send to the AI interviewer are processed to generate interview responses and evaluations. This conversation data is associated with your account to provide a continuous interview experience.

2.5 Resume Data

When you use the Resume Builder or ATS Checker, the information you provide (personal details, education, experience, skills) is processed by our AI service to generate and optimize your resume. This data is associated with your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To generate personalized interview questions based on your selected field
• To track and display your quiz progress, scores, and achievements
• To process payments and manage Pro subscription access
• To provide AI-powered text-based mock interview functionality
• To generate and optimize resumes using AI
• To improve our questions, features, and overall service quality
• To send important account-related notifications

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our app:

• Razorpay: Payment processing for Pro subscription purchases. Razorpay handles all payment data securely in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
• AI/LLM Services: We use AI models to generate interview questions, conduct mock interviews, and build resumes. Data you provide is sent to these services for processing.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Our hosting provider stores your account and progress data securely.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure storage practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and usage information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7). Payment records may be retained as required by applicable financial regulations.

7. Account Deletion & Your Rights

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account:

• Open the app and go to Dashboard → Settings (gear icon) → Delete Account
• Confirm the deletion when prompted

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your progress data, quiz scores, badges, and personal information will be permanently removed from our servers. If you are unable to access the app, you may also request account deletion by contacting us at the email provided in Section 9.

8. Children's Privacy

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use AceInterview. The app is designed for job seekers and professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
